Licking County Plat Maps ~ Newark, Granville, Heath, Buckeye Lake Ohio

Licking County Plat Maps are easily accessed online. You could go to the Engineer's Website to access Tax Maps, but you'll end up with something like this,  which is all of Licking County. From here, you would have to zoom in a little at a time and hope you can find the right plat.












The simplest way to find a specific plat map, is to start out at The Official Site of Licking County, Ohio, hover over the Administrative tab and a menu will appear, choose Auditor.

Choose property search.....



















Choose search type, I'm usually searching by address since that is normally the one thing I know for sure.

















Hover over the real estate tab.....














A menu will pop open, choose the mapping option and a new window will open. It can take a minute or two to load, but the specific plat map you're wanting will open with the parcel highlighted, it should look something like the picture below




Using the tools at the top of the screen, you can zoom in, zoom out, pan, measure, print and more. Sometimes you will have to zoom in to get the lot dimensions.












Using the map legend at the left of the screen, you can control what information is shown on the plat. The ones I use the most are Flood Hazard Zone and Aerial Photography.















In the photo below, I have chosen both the Flood Hazard Zone and the Aerial Photography options. I can see that a flood zone runs behind this particular parcel and the house is very close to the property line.
