Susan, we had a storm here in Lewisburg, with lots of rain then hail....bigger than a golf ball. Only ten minutes down the road...they did not get one drop of rain! THe latte looks delicious!
Rebecca - that is alot like we're experiencing here! I had to make a 30 minute trip down the highway and needed to pull off to the side til the rain let up enough for us to see again. I swear there was whitecap waves on the road surface there was so much water! The Latte tasted delish too!
Susan - That looks like a yummy latte. In fact, it looks like there's a ying & yang sign in the foam - could that be some sort of sign?...
My animals are terrified of thunder and fireworks. My dog shakes and pants and tries to hide. It's very sad. Hope your babies are ok now.
Nothing better than a hot cup of coffee first thing in the morning and a glass of good wine at night. The rest of the day is just fill in.
Susan, it was on Dr OZ. they call it Schizandra, and it is supposed to substitute caffine, and help you stay focused. They say during finals the stores sell out. I do think it does help me focus and plan to use it to finish my book this summer.
Sally - the young lady who made my latte this morning was intrigued with her design. She said she saw a wizard in it and we were joking about not needing to read the clouds anymore. My monsters are still freaking from the storms we've been having all day. It has been really strange weather and I'm praying tonite will be peaceful!
I need coffee every morning even when my pups sleep through the night, ha. But I feel your pain on the nights they don't!
Hi Susan - All is quiet again now that the bulk of the rain has left the big city. Had a bit of thunder but not too much. It's too late for a coffee at this early time of morning (or this late of night, depending on how you think).
Thankfully, my dog is OK with stormy weather. MY kids are another matter, however. And the basement....
After a long night, and we've had a few of them, the stuff does come in handy.
Marc - I'm with you . . . there is a certain point in the day when it is too late for coffee. My husband though, can drink it all day long and late into the evening too without it affecting him. I'd be climbing the walls.
Phil - I don't think coffee will fix a wet basement; you need something stronger than a latte for that my friend!
I am addicted to soda. Diet is fine, but I need the caffine and I need the carbination; it eases the tickle in my throat when the pollen is bad or I have a cold.
Gene - my husband is the same but I'm happy he switched to Diet soda too! We could have worse addictions :0)
