1.KEEP THE SNOW AWAY: Many buyers want to be able to walk inside the home without stepping into a pile of snow on the walkway. Make sure that the sidewalks are clear for walking, so that the Buyer can get into your home to make an offer.
2. KEEP IT WARM: When showing your home in the winter months, turn up the heat a little bit before the buyer comes by for a showing. You want them to feel warm and cozy. You may never know.... they may feel so comfortable that they won't leave.
3 LET THE SUNSHINE IN..... Make the most of the sunlight during the day when showing your home... pull back all the curtains and turn on all the lights .
4 MAKE IT COZY: you want to give Buyers the thought that they can live here too... so put on a nice comforter on the bed and maybe use a throw cover on the sofa to make it feel homely for the buyer.
5. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SEASON: Buyers wants to feel at home with the smell of baked cookies. You can throw a sheet of fabric softeners in the dryer to give the feeling of a nice spring day.
