"Home Staging Tips ~ Making a Connection with Buyers!"
As a Home Stager I try to make a connection with potential buyers with every home I stage. Creating an environment that allows buyer's to see themselves living in a home that they are previewing. In one of my previous post's I talked about how using the same color throughout your home gives it a cohesive look and allows the buyers eyes and minds to rest without an emotional jolt of different colors from room to room.
You want to create a sense of peace and calmness throughout your home. Besides color one other way is to create vignettes that tell a story or create a scene that will again let the buyers see themselves living there. It could be an outdoor setting by the pool with some lounge chairs and a pitcher, drinking glasses and a garden magazine. It could be vegetables on a cutting board ready to be chopped and put in a pot to make some homemade soup. Let the buyers envision being a part of your home, entertaining, having fun and enjoying themselves.
Let your Home be a Captivating Home that buyers find irresistible!
Can you just see yourself relaxing by the pool!
Lounging as you sip some Lemonade and read a Garden Magazine!
How about sitting by the Fire pit at Sunset and roasting Marshmallows!
Don't have a pool outback no problem.... you can create the same scene indoors as well!
I don't know if everyone loves Chocolate like I do... but if Chocolate is a favorite of yours create a scene with it!
Soft tones in the Living Room or in the first room you walk into always help to set the tone for the rest of the house!
Of course we don't want to forget the Romance in the Master Bedroom... candles, refreshments and luxurious bedding give any home a feel of a Retreat or Getaway from it all!
