I'm taking tomorrow off...

I will be working Sunday, but tomorrow is the day I've been looking forward to for a while. Donald and I are having lunch and an afternoon of cards with friends. I really need the break.

Today was one of the busiest days I've had in quite some time. I was off and running early this morning and getting a new listing into the MLS. Then there was a board meeting for the Lake Country Freedom Festival. Lots of last minute decisions.

Then there was the quick trip to take some photos of a listing. Then there was an afternoon of catching up my web site with out newest 6 listings. That's how many we got this week.

Then late in the afternoon there was the urgent call from one of my current buyers. He has found "THE" house and talked to the owner (through non real estate circumstances) and struck a deal. So he calls me to instruct me to draft the offer. I also got a call from his loan officer talling me it's okay to proceed at this price point.

So tomorrow I'm taking my reward day.

Sunday I'll get back to the business of work. Until then, I'm leaving Glen in charge of my cell phone.

I'm taking my reward day tomorrow, and hopefully Memorial Day too. Wow, 2 days in a row. But I don't have to leave the house to be busy. In fact, leaving the houses only makes my life more insane. I communicate primarily by email. It's hard to do anything with my email dinging all day long. When I come back from a listing appointment, it's not unusual for me to have 100 emails to answer.

What IS a day off? I'm not sure what to do with one. I'm always so far behind on blogging, and database management, etc, etc, etc, etc.....

And now I'm leaving on Tuesday for a week in Montana. Of course, you know I got an offer in on a relo listing (and the paperwork is enough to kill you) and now a rental application coming in on a rental I have.

If only I could travel every month!
