It has been a real pleasure helping Brian find his home here in Prescott, Arizona. Brian contacted me about six months ago looking for a home to buy in Prescott. From the get go, Brian was motivated and very much engaged in all aspects of the home buying process.
In the last six months we weathered some storms together. The biggest storm was an offer for a short sale that did not go through. The short sale ended up going to foreclosure and when the property came back on the market a bidding war ensued. Although Brian's offer on the foreclosure was aggressive, we still lost out once all offers came in. Morale was pretty low right after that, however the search went on.
About a week later we ended up finding a home that turned out to be the perfect fit for Brian. The home was not a short sale or a REO, but a traditional equity sale which was a nice change of pace for this buyer’s agent!
Staying positive and keeping my client's spirits up has proved to be a very important part of my job. Especially, when a deal does not go the way my client and I would have liked it to. With Brian, getting back on the horse and continuing the home search kept really the both of us focused on that end goal of buying a new home. Being a cheerleader for my client, as well as staying present and focusing on the goal at hand, provided an end result of a happy customer now living in a house he can call home.
