Our Southern Community in Hendersonville Class on Photovoltaics
Last night I attended a class at Our Southern Community on the Basics of Photovoltaics, taught by Ned Doyle. It was a great beginners class, and he had real hands on equipment that taught us how it all worked by looking at real wired equipment.
Ned was a great teacher, answering questions and giving real life examples of the benifits and possible dangers involved in home systems. My only sadness was that there were only four attendees in the class. I hope that as time goes on, more people will hear about these great classes and attendance will increase.
Check Our Southern Community's Website for more information on the classes they hold. Future classes will have topics like Native Plants, Building an Electric Vehicle, How Houses work and Why They Fail, and Composting and Humanure.
You can visit Our Southern Community at 797 Locust Street in Hendersonville NC 28792
