Read John 15:18-21
If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you.
If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.
And they will do all these things to you on account of my name,
because they do not know the one who sent me.
Jesus, I believe that you care about every circumstance of my life, including the difficult ones. Help me to experience your love and reassuring presence as I face them today

The World (unbelievers) certainly have many ways to persecute the Church and the spreading of His Good News. The world opposes Christian's all around the world. They are tolerant of many of the worlds ideas and sinful lives, but oppose the Jews, Israel, and Christians are being persecuted world wide.
