Thank you seems so simple, so plain.
Daily, you must think and worry about where they are and if they are safe.
Daily, you must carry on with life and the business at hand while they serve their country in a foreign land.
Yet all I know to say is......Thank you.
So easy to forget yet in the world of the soldier, all they think about is coming back to where we are right now to do what we do all day long....America is one great place...thank you Thom
Thom - there are not enough of the right words to use in expressing our thanks to so many who have given up so much for us.
I just finished listening to Newt's 2 Revolutionary War books and those families almost NEVER heard what happened to their soldiers unless a comrad wrote to tell them about their son's death. Being deployed is hard for the ENTIRE family and we need to thank them 24/7

Richie: I HAVE to thank them as I certainly would not have the courage to do what they do. No Way.
Barbara: I'll be going through airports on Tuesday...I'll be saying Thank you when I see a solider!
Wallace: Can't imagine what that must of been like. They left to war, just never to return again.
Thom - It's a good day to sit by the pool and give thanks for the freedom we have, and to remember those who made it possible.

What a sweet yet sad video Thom. It's good that we have this day every year to honor thems. Our days are filled with our own problems, never even considering what they are doing for us to secure this life and country we love.
Watching television last night we listened to some of the stories of soldiers and their families......really brought home the sacrifices made. Humbling!
I think Thanksgiving Day should be twice a year...the first time on Memorial Day...
