The Inspiration of a Seedling

Inspiration of a seedling

I took this inspirational photo from a ski lift in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and it so impressed me that this little tree survives in the most difficult of environments and seems to be a testament to will power.

In many of our lives,  we very often encounter circumstances that are so untenable that we just have no ability to rationalize a solution. But a steadfast belief that you can overcome most any obstacle can very often lead to some remarkable results.

The pine seedling that fell into the crack in these rocks obviously found something in it's DNA that provided the ability to sustaining life. It needed light, moisture and nutrients and it found those essentials where it would be expected there would be none.

When we are looking for inspiration, we too must be willing to look in the many unlikely places where it is often found.

Good Morning Shane, Thank you so much for the re-blog. I will always remember this tree and the circumstances of how I found it. Life has a measure of destiny and it is encumbant on each of us to be open to that while we always seek to acheive the best in ourselves. It is obvious to me that you seek no less. When a life lesson is to be about to make a profound influence in our lives, the teacher appears. It truly is amazing HIS ultimate plan for us.
