Doing the Happy Dance - Day 31!
Yippee! It’s on the calendar - day 31! For all those participating in the challenge we made it to the END! What a great feeling it is to accomplish 31 days of blogging. My hat is off to those bloggers who make it a practice of blogging every day. I am not there yet but the challenge pushes me closer.
The personal satisfaction one achieves far outweighs the points one receives. Although the points do have their place in the scheme of things. They give us the motivation to get started and help to keep us blogging. They serve as a unique visual or meter, if you prefer on how we are doing. We all like to see our numbers and ranking go up.
One plus for these types of challenges are all the fellow bloggers you can connect with along the way. There are 462 members in the 31 Days of May Challenge 2011. I don’t know how many of the bloggers will actually complete the challenge. I think it would be fair to say that the majority will finish. One fellow blogger said it best - we are all winners. I would agree. Activerain, the bloggers and our communities that we blogged about all gain from our efforts.
This is my third challenge I have participated in. I can share with everyone new to the blogging experience that these challenges will strengthen your blogging abilities and confidence level. Especially if you are out there sharing with the other bloggers and leaving your comments behind.
I really am glad the challenge has come to an end. I can relax. There are always the days you wonder how you are going to get your blog posted. I was pushing the midnight hour more than once. I have read some interesting posts on the personal challenges others faced with this round. For me, I was worried that Raincamp in Dallas might be a detractor. It wasn’t. Now I can take a deep breath and look forward to the next one. There will always be another one. In the mean time, I am doing the happy dance.
Hi Teral - Well done! Having these challenges really does help to keep us all motivate to blog every day. Then, once the habit is established, it gets hard to imagine stopping!
Congratulations on completing the challenge Teral. This was my 4th challenge and I only made it half way. (I finished the other 3.) Oh well, there will be other opportunities!
I am not familiar with the "happy Dance" but a am happy and dancing right now Teral! What an experience!
I'm surprised there are only 462 participants.
Great job on persisting. It's hard to blog every day without diluting the quality of the posts.
Congratulations! I have the whole day to procrastinate and wait at the last minute to post. lol I will do the happy dance later. :)
Teral,
Great job completing the challenge. Like the happy dance idea. Certainly you can rejoice. :)
Steve
Hi Teral - Congratulations on completing the 31 days in May challenge. Enjoy the happy dance!!!
Hi Teral, Congrats on the May 31 day Challenge, will catch the next one, got to get this dang broker exam out of the way first.
Teral:
I'm doing that happy dance, too. I am surprised that only 462 people participated in the challenge. It seemed that every one who blogged was talking about the challenge. Oh, are we supposed to do somethng when we finish the challenge? Are we suppose to email Kerrie our activerain address? Who know?
Good Morning Teral, Congratulations and my best wishes on the completion of the Challenge!
Me too! :) But I have learned how to create better blogs! :) It has been an interesting month!
Teral-congratulations on making it through the challenge! I'm going to use you and all the other participants as examples for myself when another one comes along to push me. No more excuses!
Teral, I am also glad it is over, but have learned to do many drafts and this helped me in the challenge.
Hey! I just joined your new Texas Lakes group! I will post to it ASAP!
Rebecca: I did lots of drafts too!
Thank you everyone for the congratulatory comments today; it has been fun watching others post their final blogs too.
Hello, Teral! Congratulations! I'm doing the happy dance with you and the other winners. I'm taking it easy tonight... the only night I'm not scrambling to post. LOL
Hi Teral, officially I am not supposed to say when its scheduled as I have been schooled in my prep class, just supposed to state that I will let you know once I pass....it'll be soon, and yes you wil hear about it here.
Good morning, Teral. Yes, it has been a long climb for this May challenge. Good that it is over...
