My Memorial Day Thank you!
As I raised the American Flag this morning, as I do on every Memorial Day, I paused to think and remember why this day is so important to me. Maybe it is because I am from a military family, my Grandfather served and was wounded in WWII, my father served 26 years in the Air Force, with time in the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He is a disabled veteran.
Maybe it is because all the friends I know and have known who have served this country and it's people (us) all over the world and in many horrible situations. Maybe it is because of all those brave and wonderful people who have sacrificed so much, sometimes every thing, so that I may live is a country that is FREE.
All I know is that I am very thankful for all of them and for all that they have done, are doing, and will do,
Thank YOU!
