Great Wyoming Buffalo Stampede 2011. 5K and 10K
Downstate Delaware Striders and Riders is sponsoring a 5K and 10K event on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 8AM. The location is Wyoming Park in Wyoming, Delaware. Registration begins at 7AM.
The races are on an out and back course on mostly paved roads through orchards and scenic countryside. New this year, chip timing and technical shirts. Post race will include live music, beer, soda, shade and picnic tables. Food and beverages available at a nominal cost.
$100 cash award for new 10K and 5K Run course records. Prizes for First, Second and Third places for male and female finishers in five age groups. For more information call Myles Standish at 302.697.8188; email stampede2011@ddsr.org.
Register at www.ddsr.org. Fee $20 until July 2 and $25 after and on day of event. Members of Downstate Delaware Striders and Riders fee is $12 until July 2, $17 after and on day of event.
