What does it take to get Referrals from your friends, family and neighbors?
How much of your business is from referrals - either past clients, lenders, other agents, or sphere of influence. I have some agent friends who complain that their friends never use them for real estate transactions and that they have few referrals. What exactly does it take? While attending a Joe Stumpf By Referral Only presentation, he addressed that question. I liked his succinct answer
•1) Show up on time
•2) Do what you say you are going to do
•3) Finish what you say you are going to do
•4) Show gratitude
Very basic, and very easy to remember - part of my goals for the next half of the year.
