An Absolutely Gorgeous Day in Railroad Park on Memorial Day (Hot But Still Gorgeous)
Yesterday was hot as the dickens in Railroad park but the people, the music, the sights and the overall ambiance made it enjoyable and bearable. Below is just a short video of just one of the bands (I did all of you favorite and didn't include the video where you could here me singing as I was recording. The video is just a soundbite.
Charita, We had the hot as the dickens down part yesterday, but no jazz band playing in our yard while we worked!
One thing about the sun Bliz......it can whip your butt (as it did mine but still no complaints).
Charita, Tried to check up Liz on the overdoing part, but she just HAD to finish transplanting those hollyhocks yesterday. Heat zapped her almost into a migraine. I've learned I can't do as much as I did as a teenager living in Louisiana where the 90 degree temps were routine. Still trying to figure out where the 3 days went! Did get a patio home purchase contract written, but it was a blink and the weekend was over deal. Working nonstop from Friday afternon through last night around 8.
Bill I feel Liz on that one. She sounds like me.........if I start it, then I'm in it until I finish it especially when it comes to yard work because I know if I don't finish it on THAT day, then I probably won't feel like it the next day.

To be honest with you Brenda I don't even remember when I've taken a day just to chill. So I was long overdue.
