A funny thing happen to me on the way to the office this morning. The day started off just like any other Tuesday after a 3 day weekend up at 5:30am checking the local news paper and flipping on the computer to see eat e-mails have come in while Janet and I were taking some needed R-&-R. Coffee in hand and both Jack and Honey on the sofa enjoying their morning dog bone; there it was in the headline of the paper “Flopping” unscrupulous real estate agents fake “Brokers Price Opinion” (BOP) valuing the home well below market, and pick off properties from lenders, then resell at market value. The first a long list of bad new this morning. On the radio news on the road to the office, consumer confidence down, poor job market and dismal housing market account for the bad forecast… What dismal housing market? Okay prices are way down from the highs in the 2005 run-up. Sales are down a bit is some areas, but why do they always make it out to be so gloomy? You need to sell you might just take it in the shorts, you need to buy you are in the driver seat, interest rates are at historic lows and prices are well discounted… Well after reading my post maybe it was not all the funny...
