A major debate occurred as Karen and I stood outside the ticket window for the AMC movie theater in Tempe. We could not decide what to see. I tried to avoid any chick flicks, but the ticket girl had me convinced that Bridesmaids was not a chick flick. So we waited to see that movie which was 30 minutes away versus simply going into see the movie Thor. Boy! I think I was tricked. All of the preview trailers were all chick flicks with Ashton Kutcher and Jason Bateman which lead to the perfect assumption, that I was suckered. “My father and I went to see it and he loved it!” the ticket window girl said.
I was pleasantly surprised however. The main actress was really funny. She is from Saturday Night live and I felt this was a woman’s version of Hangover, the classic movie comedy of all time. Kristen Wiig is the heroine who tries to keep her mental marbles together as she vies to be the best maid of honor she can be while competitively battling the snobby new friend of the bride. Wiig is hilarious and believable in this role. I laughed.
The day was a nice overall day. We had three offers this weekend and, well, all of them were accepted and we met some nice new friends who became our clients.
