It's official. The Atlanta Thrashers have been sold and are moving to Winnipeg. Atlanta now becomes the first National Hockey League city to lose two franchises in the modern era. The team will move, the name will be changed and the fans will be the ones that lose the most. Philips Arena will no longer be Blueland. No more hockey for us. It is a sad day in Blueland.

The former owner really seemed broken up. Winnepeg makes out big...but tough loss for Atlanta!
