The age old adage that customers are always right doesn't seem to rhyme here. I am a customer myself and sometimes (oftentimes?) because of the line of my work (an outsourced customer support/sales person) I get into that mindset that if I don't find a service/product to be working then I can just run roughshod over the whole thing. Marketing is indeed a 2 way street - we (as 1st class marketers) bring our products / services to where they add a 'perceved' value to our clients and in return they being our customers - pay our salaries and or commissions for the value added in their lives.
As Word of Mouth Marketers, let us get our customers to a point where buying our product/service will be a very easy and simple choice for them because in the ultimate analysis, we don't close the sale but we OPEN relationships that last a lifetime.
