To be there or not to be there?

I know a day off is very important to us hard working real estate professionals. This past weekend I was in a huge dilemma, to be there or not to be there. Here’s the story: I try to conduct an open house at least 3 times per month, minim. This month I was short, because it was a busy month. We had a graduation, My daughter’s birthday and the Memorial Day Weekend. The last weekend of the month just had to fall on a holiday weekend. Bummer!! Well I just had to do it. I let a few colleges in my office know my intent to do an open house and they pretty much laughs at me for being so crazy. Well, my goal was set and this needed to be done. So I geared up and open the doors.

It was not that big of a disappointment. I had 5 visitors. One homeowner in the neighborhood (noise neighbor) and 4 potential buys. One of the buyers seems to be serious. The noise neighbor invited me over to have a look at their house. So not all was lost, looks like I may get a listing out of it all and possible a sell. Turned out to be pretty productive.

I'm with you Arary! When you are dead and gone, people will not remember the quality time you spent with your family . . . they will only remember the number of open houses you held . . .

Good go of it Arary! You kept your word by following the goals you setup. There are no accidents in life so the potential buyers you picked up were due to your efforts. Good show.
