Provident Funding is a mortgage broker's best friend!

When you first start to work with them you may not agree that Provident Funding is a mortgage brokers best friend, but after you learn the ropes of working with them, the fact that you cannot be beat in pricing and you can still make a reasonable profit on your loans you will agree with me.

I want to use activerain and this blog post specifically as a platform to find other brokers who have a good relationship with Provident Funding, because if they do, then I know that we have a similar business model. I can then confidently refer my clients to out of state brokers where I am not licensed and build up a network of referral partnerships that will benefit the independent broker network.

Relocations are one of the most common purchase transactions right now because the company will eat the loss on the sale of the employees home sale. If you are a mortgage broker and your client calls you to ask if you can do their loan in the state they are moving to. Let them know that while you can't profit on the loan you can assist them in finding a like minded broker licensed in that state who can take care of their new loan.

If you are a quality mortgage broker, please respond to this post as I will be checking back on it over time when I find clients who are moving to other states.

Hey Ryan!  You are the star of Provident's latest internal marketing self-promotion!  Nicely done!  Trust me, we are HUGE fans of PFG and their pricing is simply unbeatable.  Just sent them a new loan here in Sarasota, FL and locked in at 4.5% (30-yr. fixed) paying the client about $1500.  Closest competitor was 4.625% with the client paying about $2000.  I'll keep your info handy if I hear of someone looking for lending in the UT.  Was just in Park City (Canyons) this winter and absolutely love it.  Be glad to help out any Florida folks if you ever need a fellow Providentite.  Talk care brother.

Thanks for the responses Chris, Mike and Keith. I am shocked that Provident put that up there as their breaking news. Especially, without asking me first. That is fine though as almost all publicity is good. So far we have California, Utah, Florida, Pennsilvania, and New Jersey covered. I think Provident should offer this as a service to us as brokers, but we may as well do that here for ourselves and our clients. A follow up to my initial post- Just had a funding today that I was out of town for. Needless to say I was concerned as Provident usually does have several easy funding conditions. Title took care of them and the loan funded as scheduled. Once again, you have to learn the ropes before they will be your best friend.

For future blog readers here is a link the original repost done to Provident Approved Brokers. Keep the comments coming. My guess is about 1 year from now, we will have approved brokers in all fifty states and numerous testimonials from referring and referred.
