Swan Nest in Amityville NY
My husband runs in the area behind the Amityville NY High School. Today he saw a swan sitting on top of an egg in the nest. He actually saw the egg today. I got there this afternoon with my camera and took photos of her on the nest. Waited a while to see if she would get up but no luck! I'll try again tomorrow. I love nature!

Jackie, I can honestly say I've never seen a swan nest before and the babies at the end were quite a surprise. FYI, I got married at the Swan Club in Roslyn.
what an excellent find Jackie...love it! :) When I studied at SUNY New Paltz...it was so nice seeing the changing of seasons and the new born ducklings appear...so cute :)
Jackie, pretty cool! I also remember your post about the Eagle Cam, I was just out to it and I guess the cam is down for a few days while the powers that be prepare for a flight cage or something similar.
