There will be a neighborhood garage sale in Boise's Millcreek Subdivision on June 04, 2011 so I decided it was a great day to also have an open house in case you need a new home with about 3,200 sq. ft and an oversized 3 car garage to store everything in. Check out the virtual tour of this great custom built home listed for only $287,500. I am glad to have this open during NAR's Nationwide Open House Event. Stop by and register for your chance to win some gift cards to RC Willey and Lowes!

Good thinking. I did that last year and dd get a great turnout. Didn't find my buyer, but heck, so what? I met a lot of  great folks and got to connect. Who knows where that will lead.

What a great idea to have an open house with the garage sale!  Best of luck!

@Deb, As past president of our association, I like to make sure I engage in our local and national promotions.

@Gwen, I think most of the garage sale crowd was looking for antiques in hiding or 25 cent bargains.  Most of them grabbed flyers and didn't come in but I expected that.  Hopefully they will share the flyer with people that might be in interested.  Typically, I pull the flyers prior to an open but figured I would print my marketing data on the back and let them take a flyer and run if they wanted to.
