One of the benefits of having an agent work for you...is having the agent WORK for you. I have some out of state clients who have spent the past 2 weekends with me looking for their retirement dream...a Waterfront Home. We made an offer on one but just couldn't get the numbers to work. So...we are still looking. They found 3 additional homes they are interested in but these homes are not in my local MLS and I was not familiar with the area. So instead of wasting my clients time to make the trip to look at homes we know nothing about...I offered to go preview the homes and the areas.
This is the view from the Master Bedroom private sunroom...pretty nice isn't it.
That's one of the benefits of having a buyers agency agreement. When my clients signed this agreement they agreed to work with me, and I agreed to work for them. So, after my Open House on Sunday I met up with my husband and we spent the afternoon driving around looking at Waterfront Homes for my clients. What a way to spend the day...
We saw some great homes, met some very nice people, and spent some quality time together all at the same time. Doesn't really seem right to call it work.
