How would you like in a very few seconds to know a great deal about a prospect

without much effort?


I saw in Saturday on a used car lot, of all places.  I've had sales training...but I never saw this technique.


The salesman approached a person of a different coloration and immediately says "I know you" and from there he goes into figuring out how.  In a few seconds he knows the man's name, home area, and where he works.  He has connected!


I am going to do that the next time I meet a woman I want to become acquainted with.  "Hi, Linda"!  here response "No, I'm xxx!"  My response "I'm sorry I thought you were Linda whom I dated in high school, who was fabulous and I hadn't seen her in years.  You look just like her!" ..... salesmanship!

A salesman does not wear loud plaid outdated sports jackets with sleeves too short and that he is a little too large to button up. A salesman knows the product, service inside and out and delivers the information using all the media available. It is not smoke and glass and reverse psychology to sell these days. It is give me the information fast, complete, easy and save me time, money. The real estate buyer cares less about the brand, agent, broker. Sorry.
