San Francisco condo conversions and cranky real estate rants

The dynamic San Francisco real estate team of JacksonFuller has been hard at work, the Memorial Day holiday break not withstanding.

In addition to the hard work we've been putting into working with our current buyers, sellers, and upcoming listing preparations, this is what we had time to write about on our popular blog:

Pay to Play Condo Conversions are a real possibility according to SF Mayor Ed Lee. This isn't the first time a pay-to-bypass the lottery scheme has been suggested, but hope springs eternal that time it actually goes somewhere.

What does it take to be successful in real estate? Trust your instincts and tune out the social chatter. Research shows that the "chatter of the crowds" quickly destroys the "wisdom of the crowds." Investor, know thyself!

Finally, the folks over at Devil's Teeth Bakery in the Outer Sunset have received the go ahead to install some sidewalk seating. While the seats won't show up for several months, I'm grateful that this local small business is able to move forward. The drama surrounding the Devil's Teeth Bakery led to this rant of a post about what to expect when living in a city

We hope our real estate update finds all of you doing well. While it might still be cold and raining here in San Francisco, we hope all of you are getting off to a wonderful start to summer.
