Do These Things for Your Yard in the Fall:
Rake those leaves, and Fertilize if you need to.
Repair and Reseed and water new grass or pray for rain if you are in the drought areas.
Prune trees and shrubs using a guide that is plant specific.
Transplant trees and shrubs that have grown too large or need diferent soil and light.
Clean dead plants and debris out of flower beds, and remulch for the winter.
Divide and move established plants, such as lariope, that can be used as edgers and ground covers.
Certain bulbs can be planted in the fall for Spring blooming. Also such flowers as pansied can be planted in the fall for blooming all Winter in certain areas that have more temperate climates.
