Kidding Aside

By
Real Estate Agent with CIR REALTY

So sometimes we do take our jobs too seriously.  Its business and sometimes we just need to lighten up.

At least for a few minutes and perhaps sit back and breathe.  Recently a huffy Realtor® gets up in my grill over something that if they had ONLY given a few minutes more and thought about it, ...would have been so much less stressful.

IS there really a point to tick off everyone...in a Real Estate transaction..NO.  WIN/WIN attitude and lets make it right.

I honestly believe if there is a will there is a way.   OR if not...got to just walk away.  BUT don't get up in my face - really.

So, the next time - IF EVER it happens just think for a few minutes longer.  And look at all the possiblities.

You never know...and what the heck....   life is too short  - move on people

I think some agents miss the mark that to an extent we are all working toward the same page.  We each have our clients but we are working toward a common goal.  If it is on the same house great, if not, move on, no need to be nasty.

Definitely, Terri - sometimes we all need to take a "chill pill" (are the kids still saying that?)  As You and Christie note, we are all working towards the same ultimate end - a satisfying transaction for all parties!

Also Terri, keep in mind that you never know what truly has a person upset.  The realtor you referenced may have been dealing with some personal issues and unfortunately, you were the closest one to lash out at.  Not that that makes it right, it just means they may be faced with a ton of other issues and may not be managing very well.  You definitely have the right attitude.  WIN/WIN!!!!  Thanks for sharing!
