Read Acts 20:28-38
You know well that these very hands
have served my needs and my companions.
In every way I have shown you that by hard work of that sort
we must help the weak,
and keep in mind the words of the Lord Jesus who himself said,
‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Lord Jesus, pour out special grace on the poor and needy. Let their cry pierce our hearts. Show us how to be your arms to encourage and lift them up.!

Rust and moth with destroy our possessions and we cannot take them with us. We must work to get our "fields" ready before we work on our own home. Never say to those in need that I will give it to you tomorrow, when you have the means to help today!

Charles, we are commanded by the Lord to help those who cannot help themselves.
