Market on Main Street

Real Estate Agent with Tropic Shores Realty

Every Saturday from 8am to 2pm there is a farmer's market in front of the Court House on Main St.

Court House

The market not only has fresh farm raised produce, a lot of which is organic or simply raised without chemicals but there is also several vendors that display and sell hand made crafts along with other treasures.

Green Acre Organics

Beasley Farms and Green Acre Organics are 2 farms in the Brooksville area that raise and sell sustainably grown produce.  The Brooksville farmer's market is a great place to get out, take a little walk and meet some of the down to earth, just plain freindly people that make Hernando County and the Nature Coast a great place to buy real esate and settle in.

Remember Saturday morning, maybe I'll see you there!

Mark, what a great post about the best place to shop in the Tampa Bay area.  What could be better than fresh produce that is pesticide free, local raw honey that will cure any allergy, and home made soap that still has the moisturizer intact and no poisonous preservatives?  Brooksville is a mecca for natural products.  We are blessed.

Hi Mark~ I do love organic produce and the fun of shopping in an open market. Since Pike Place Market, the oldest market in the country is a block from my Seattle home, I get to enjoy the freedom of fresh produce and flowers at my convenience any day of the week!
