I LOVE Memphis, Tennessee!! Sometimes it is easy to forget the really fun, unique and interesting things we have to do right under our noses. In the City we walk and drive through every day,we forget to take time to enjoy some of the places and activities that people World-Wide come to Memphis to experience. In the Summer it is an especially good time to consider the many attractions we have available. Now is the chance to get out and have some fun - in Memphis, Tennessee!

Elmwood Cemetery is well-known for its Civil War history. More than 1000 Confederate soldiers, including 19 Confederate Generals and 2 Union Generals, rest beneath the elms at Elmwood, as well as many local and State politicians. Shelby Foote (Author) and Dr. Benjamin Hooks (Civil Rights Leader) are also stopped there; as well are approximately 2500 victims of the Yellow Fever Epidimic that changed the History of Memphis in 1878.
