I need more leads and am looking to buy some but don’t what to waste my money and time.  I don’t' know which companies are good or bad....I found this blog about a “bad” one....I guess I’ll pick a company by way of the elimination process: the consensus is: do not use “REPLY Real Estate”  I’ve never heard of them!

I thought I would give Reply REAL ESTATE lead generator a try, what the heck, you only pay for leads and you will get 5 a week.  WOW, that's great, and if I don't like the lead or don't think its a valid lead, just send it back and get credit. ................ wow I was excited my "Lead Alerts" started coming in immediately, I would first do a little history on the buyer/seller, then I would email, then call......... first lead was a college student selling his parents home for $900K, second lead was a 2 mo. old baby, 3rd lead was "not interested" - the 4th and 5th leads had their homes on MLS and they were in PENDING!!!!!  but looking for a rental..........

I will brag all day long about "AGENT MACHINE" lead finder, I have successfully received 4 leads, listed and either sold or they are in pending.  I also like 24/7 Call Capture, that lead generator is an endless tree.... my mortgage broker signed me up at no cost to me, just refer her the loans........ I made $50K off this system last year!!  I would recommend this to anyone who will listen, I get at least 4 or 5 calls a day from my "call capture number" - if the person is not interested in the particular home they are looking at and called on, 99% of the time, I "capture" the caller for another home!!  this is endless..........

RUN or hang up when REPLY Real Estate calls you!  I am going to leave my complaints on their "testimonial page" but I am sure it won't be there in the morning.

Anyone else have this experience?

My  Lender:  Seacost Mortgage, Ann Sabbagh, 508-243-1190, call her today and ask how to get the 24/7 call capture sign in front of your listins.  Say Sandy Sent you.............

Hi Aida,

I tried Reply for 1 day in 2009.  What a waste!  Run, do not walk!!

I have been using Zillow and Homes.com to get free leads.  I answer questions posted by Buyers and Sellers and have gotten 3 good leads in the last 2 months which lead to 2 more from the leads themselves.  Not bad for just showing that you know the business and can provide them the answers and services that they want.  You can set up email alerts so that when someone posts a question in a city that you have selected, you get an email and can go provide the answer.

Good luck to you, and from what I have been told over and over...do not pay for leads.

I've heard that real problems with Reply is when you try to cancel your program with them. There are some real horror stories out there. We always run a quick Google on these types, and yep, it is too good to be true.

They did make it difficult to cancel so I just cancelled the card they were charging!  They continued to send leads after I cancelled, for which they could not charge me.  I called on those too and they were garbage as well.
