It had gotten so hot the other day, my husband and I decided to get some ice cream. We went to the legendary Stricklands ice cream on Triplett Blvd in Akron OH.
It was so hot, even these cute dogs had their own cones. Before I could take a picture, the big dog Brandy had eaten all of hers. The little pooch was still going strong.
Every night around 10-11 PM my 2 canine kids will start bugging me for their last trip outside and than their small bowl of a piece of fruit and a little vanilla ice cream before heading to bed.
It's hard to imagine anything not enjoying ice cream.

Dogs love to hang out with us when we go on walks, especially to the ice cream store. What a great treat to beat the heat.

Deborah -- We take the dog out for ice cream as well. He gets his own cup and doesn't pick his head up until that cup is completely clean!
