I received a call yesterday from an agent out of the area looking to potentially refer a listing my way. I love that! It was somewhat of an indirect referral as the sellers were the parents of his client so he didn't actually really know the sellers. As I always do I wanted to pull up the address and see what we were dealing with. As it turns out it appears the parents didn't need his help and had already listed it. But that's not the point of my story.....
Upon looking at the listing I once again saw what never ceases to amaze me. The home was basically described as a completely remodeled condo with beautiful ocean views. Sounds great and couldn't wait to see the pictures.....oh wait....the only picture was a shot of the exterior of the building. How can agents still be doing this? There are certain circumstances when good interior photos are a challenge, but c'mon, how hard is it to get a picture of the view. What I, and every buyer on the internet, assume when there's no pictures is that there is something wrong with this place.
