Stove or no stove that is the question

There are a lot of myths in the real estate market.

One of them is that a home requires a range or stove in order to be FHA eligible.

Below is the answer straight out of the FHA handbook:

Neither a new home nor an existing home has to have a stove in order to be eligible for FHA financing.

Greg, that is true.  I learned in taking an FHA class, that the FHA guidelines are pretty easy-going.  It's the banks they go through that tighten up the guidelines.
