Kelly, what a wonderful story! That would have been very exciting to see a fawn just born, but not in the middle of the road! Your mountains are beautiful, and hopefully not experiencing flooding from the snow run-off!
Thank-you Teresa and Joan. We love getting up to the mountains and spend every moment we can there. Seems like the melt/ run-off was much quicker last year causing a turbulent river and more road wash-outs. This year has been more gradual. Joan, your mountains (near Denver) are beautiful too! Hope you get to enjoy them frequently.
Kelly, thanks for visiting my FB Friday page this week, and I have added you for next week! I look forward to reading more of your blogs!
Hi, Kelly! What a beautiful description of your trip. We have deer in our backwoods that come out at night to forage but have not seen their fawn. What a nice retreat!
Thank-you Yolanda. I am originally from the mid-west. The woods there are thick and beautiful. I remember seeing deer everywhere growing up, but like you, I don't remember ever seeing a fawn. For me, getting our cabin in the mountains has been just wonderful. Every trip up there brings its own adventures and memories.
Beautiful country where you are.....Florida is so different and hot...if I have anyone going your way I will send them your way. Please join my active rain and I will do the same.
Teresa
