55 and Older Homes

I believe that 55 and older complexes can be a change of lifestyle if they offer amenities that such buyers are looking for. Certainly, having main floor master bedrooms help, but what about those buyers that develop handicaps that require wheel chair assistance. Do many of the complexes have ramps, or chair height sinks, or handicap accessible showers,or whole body dryers, or extra wide hallways and doorways?  One builder in CT has an answer in his complex for those who develop handicaps as they get older with many of these features. Is there are call for high end units like this?? Contact me Steve Briotti, WEICHERT, Realtors-Briotti Group 203-879-2339
