Anyone who follows my blog knows that I think the world of Alex and Cadey Charfen and the CDPE designation. They have changed the way distressed properties are handled, and have helped all of us make sense of it all. Now I am hoping that we’ll all help Alex in one of his goals.
Alex is a finalist in Austin’s Fittest Entrepreneurs competition, and he needs our votes! Alex not only promotes healthy living, but has institutionalized the lifestyle at The Charfen Insitute. He believes that healthy people work more efficiently, and is leading by example. Leading a healthy lifestyle has changed the way he thinks, and it has benefited his business by his increased energy and productivity.
I’ll be the first to admit I’m not the always healthiest of people, but I am somewhat inspired by Alex’s quest after seeing his video. I have to say that he makes a very good argument for not only taking steps to being fit, but in encouraging my employees to do so as well. We can all use more energy and increased productivity….oh, and a healthier body of course. I think it’s a great idea to have your company participate in 5K walks or runs, charity events, etc. What a wonderful way to get your business’s name out there and also do something good for yourself and others.
