Seaview Village: Staged to Sell

The beauty of this model unit for Seaview Village, Bridgeport CT, is it's seaside flavor, without the "Nantucket" look - which wouldn't work in this neighborhood. These townhouses are located near Long Island Sound, but it's an urban location. The attention of the target audience was captured, based on the comments young couples and families made as they were touring while I finished the installation! Instead of seashells in baskets, I opted for neutral looks on the large pieces, and added lots of textures: woven rattan pieces, linen drapery, wooly throw, silky bed linens...overall neutral color scheme with lots of green and a dash of red for flavor...patterns and art were based on leaves - in the china, on the pillows and art.
