Why you may want to Rent

In the Orlando, FL area you should rent if the following situations are true to you:

You job may require you to travel extensively and you are not sure where your next assignment will take you.

Home ownership is everyone's dream. It's the kind of dream that comes with a high price tag. you've got to be sure of your finances if you don't want the bank to foreclose your home.

It can happen. You can't find a property that meets your requirements under the budget you have set in the area that you wanted. Maybe you should stretch your budget. Maybe you should look someplace else. Or, maybe you should just continue renting while you wait for the right one to suddenly pop-up in the market.

Compare the cost of buying a house or apartment  with the cost of renting. If renting is lower it may be the right choice for you.

Owning a home can bring on some headaches. You have to maintain it and make repairs. If that's not your cup of tea then you should not buy one.

another reason to rent:  because NO ONE will give you a mortgage!  LOL  Of course other reasons would be no established credit, too young, too new on a first job, etc.

We have rent-to-own homes because the tenants would LOVE to own... but they have to work on their credit first...  good post Armando..... been too busy to stop by and read from my list of subscribed... hope yall understand!

Renting can also make financial sense if you don't plan on staying in the home for at least two years or if you want the flexibility to move again in the near term. But usually if you purchase at the correct price, and the monthly payment meets your budget, the property tax and interest deductions make more sense than renting. Renting would be money down the drain. Plus the place is yours to decorate and make home improvements to your heart's content.
