Marcello's Turns 25 and You're Invited to Celebrate! - Suffern NY

Marcello's has been a fixture in the village of Suffern for 25 years now.  This weekend marks the 25th anniversary of his retaurant's existance in Suffern and to celebrate a quarter of a century of success he'd like to invite the community to share in a special celebration that will take place at the revitalized historic Lafayette Theatre.   How special is that!

There's two week-ends of fun planned as part of this celebration - June 16 and June 23 with a concert on each of those days at the Historic Lafayette Theatre.

On June 16, 2011 at 8PM the concert will feature  singer Chritina Fontanelli in "From Napoli to Broadway" with The Fun Bunch Big Band and a special guest ventriloquist Gary WIllner.

On June 23, 2011, 8pm "Pop to Opera", The Jazz at Lincoln Centers Antonio Ciacca will perform along with soprano Elsebeth Dreisig, baritone Ivan Dimitrov, singer/songwriter Giada Valenti, and pianist Albin E. Konopka.

Tickets for each of the performances are $75  - but it buys you a whole lot more than just a ticket to the concert.  It includes Marcello's new cookbook, a $25 gift certificate towards one of Marcello's famous cooking classes (which are legendary) and 1 complimentary appetizer at Marcello's Ristorante.   It will also entitle you to be included in a raffle where the lucky winner gets a cooking class in Abruzzo, Italy with land transportation and hotel accommodations included, but sorry, no airfare.  In addition to all that, $15 of each ticket will be donated to a local charity of your choice. 
That's quite a lot of mileage out of your $75!
