This Cat Attended My Short Sale Listing Presentation

Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty Louisville East (502) 664-7827

I’m used to having additional parties attend my short sale listing presentations. I welcome the opportunity to explain the process. The sellers often bring to the table advisors and supporters who are their;

  • Parents
  • Children
  • Siblings
  • Grandparents
  • Grandchildren
  • Neighbors
  • Friends
  • Significant others who are not on the loan
  • Financial advisors
  • Legal advisors

I enjoy the crowd. The more people the better. I am confident in my knowledge and confident in my answers. I have vast supporting documentation at my fingertips wherever I go.

The more questions I am asked the better it is. Questions lead to understanding. Short sales are complex and I want my clients and their advisors to be fully satisfied with my knowledge of the short sale process. I want all parties to experience my commitment and passion for helping homeowners avoid foreclosure. I'm proud to share with them how I have helped many sellers in Louisville reduce their stress by getting their mortgage debt out of their lives.

The cutest observers are of course babies. The second cutest are cats, such as this one who recently sized me up at a client’s kitchen table:

Dave - how intently that cat is looking at you! Happens to me, but I'm a crazy cat lady, and I think they pick up on that.

Dave, what a sweet cat! And to sit there so patiently, asking in it's 'cat telepathy' what are you doing in/to my house!?! Thanx for sharing, congrats on the listing!

Dave, Definitely a curious cat!  Some we see you'd never know were there, others will jump on the back of Liz's chair when we're at an appointment...they know an animal lover when they find them! :)  Bill

Peter - pets always wonder why strangers are in their territory

Carol - they definitely pick up on it, some sort of reciprocity thing

Peg - definitely telepathy

Paula - I know that dogs are always thinking of getting a treat. I'm not sure what cats think about.

Bill - pet antics always break up the stress of talking about mortgage payments and foreclosure issues, so let them jump and romp all they want

Hi Dave, She is looking at you perhaps thinking, " No kidding, you can save them from a fate worse than death" "awe come on, you kidding me." " It can't be that easy". " You should hear them at night talking ( and crying too)  about it". "Thanks Dave for saving them. They are important to me and I don't want to see them suffer anymore".
