Fourth of July Independence Day Celebration in Ormond Beach Florida
Celebrate the 4th on the banks of the Halifax River. The free Independence Day Celebration in Ormond Beach Florida will feature Food, music, games and fireworks July 4, 2011 6PM to 10PM. Fireworks start over the Halifax River at 9:30 PM. This is the 13th year the Granada Bridge has been the location of the celebration. Piers and boat docks will be closed.
The event takes place at 3 corners of the Granada Bridge: Rockefeller Gardens, Fortunato Park, and City Hall Plaza. There will be food and music on each corner and a Free shuttle service from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. between the southwest corner of Granada Blvd and South Beach Street and Fortunato Park on the east side of the bridge.

In the patriotic Kids' Corner at Fortunato Park there will be juggling, a magic show, strolling performers, arts and crafts, games, and inflatables. Uncle Sam, Ben Franklin and Abe Lincoln are expected to attend to talk with the kids.
Lots of vendors will offer a variety of food, beverages and ice cream.
There is a paved walkway under the east side of the Granada Bridge to allow walking from Fortunato Park to Rockefeller Gardens and avoid traffic. Beach Street will be closed North from Granada to Lincoln Avenue and south to Division Avenue. Other side streets may also be closed.
City Hall Plaza will feature Jazz and Blues music, Rockefeller Gardens will feature Rock & Roll and Country.
