I wanted to re-blog the below post because Hannah is right, there is nothing better than a past client calling YOU instead of you always having to initiate. When I read this post, I thought about how a really good business directory is instrumental to this. When you position yourself as the go-to person for all things home related, and can easily recommend great Landscapers, Plumbers, Electricians, etc., past clients will begin to reply on you and will call you. This is what you want because not only is it likely that they'll move again, but they're great sources of referrals.
Past clients calling you back.What a wonderful feeling it is when you answer the phone and a past client's voice is on the other end. Hello they say do you remember me ? I remember all my past clients and it gives me a wonderful feeling inside when they call me back. This client was getting ready to sell .I am going to their home to see what needs to be done to prepare it for sale.
One thing you can be sure of is when that voice on the other end is a past client's voice you did a good job for them. When was the last time you heard a past client's voice?
It is so important to build trust with your past clients. It is a wonderful feeling of pride to hear a past client's voice on the other end of the phone!
