Well summer is here! Some of the best things about summer are the Farmer's Markets in and around the Tysons Corner area. As a local resident and top Realtor® in Fairfax County, I enjoy having easy local access to the fresh fruits and vegetables which are a very important part of healthy eating.
It's easy to stock up for the week. Many of the local markets are open one or two days a week and offer wonderful accompaniments to the seafood offered in our local aquaculture farms. Härth, Tysons Corner's new restaurant, has a Farmer's Market located in the rear parking lot behind the Hilton McLean Tyson's Corner. It will be open every Saturday, come rain or come shine through October 29, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Vienna is home to the Vienna Saturday Farmers' Market. This market is open every Saturday. Hours are from 8:00 a.m. until noon. The Vienna Saturday Farmers' market will be held through Saturday, October 29, 2011.
McLean actually has a Friday Farmer's Market.. It is held every Friday from 8:00 a.m. until noon. This market will be open through November 18, 2011.
Fairfax has a wonderful Community Farmer's Market held every Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. through October 29, 2011 except for October 8, 2011 when the city will be celebrating its Fall Festival.
