SEO Exposure - what's your opinion?

I'm working under the direction of Mark Taylor to develop a better presence on the internet for Arizona real estate and I'm learning a TON.

However, I disagree with one aspect of his marketing ideas and discussed this with Susan Emo yesterday.

So, I decided to bring this to you, my fellow ActiveRainers.

Mark says the title line should start with 3 bedroom/3 bath home in Tatum Ranch

I say the title line should be Tatum Ranch 3 bedroom/3 bath home for sale OR

Cave Creek Tatum Ranch 3 bedroom/3 bath home for sale.

I think the city name, subdivision name, THEN the home feature is the best format.

Please take a second to take the poll and let me know your ideas.  I'll be sure to share them with the teacher.

Juli - I am still learning about this. I did take two rounds of the classes that Steven Graham taught at ActiveRain University.  He said to end the title with the geographical tie.  I often search for key phrases and see the city/area come up first.  Call me "play it safe" blogger, and I have tried it both ways, also have tried it starting and ending with the area. :)

I will be interested to see what other comments you get.  Good luck!

Hi Julie,  Interesting question,  If the subdivision is quite well known I would move it forward in the question.  If it is not so well known you might lose some buyers who do not recognize the sub name.  Just thinkin'.

Can't wait to hear the opinions.  Did you take the poll?  It will auto populate as well.

Hi Juli - Here's my guess: it doesn't matter to the crawlbots as long as you have all the keywords there. There are two things worth considering, though - it might make a difference is how readable your title is to humans - the ultimate target. And it might help to be able to mirror as exactly as possible the most likely order that people will use in phrasing their search.

I like your poll, great way to add interest.  I chose #2 but #1 also seems appropriate too.  If they choose the area first and it doesn't have what they are looking for in terms of bedrooms, then it's a no go.  Does that make sense?

I mentioned your name on these two blogs.  Thought you ought to know.  your-2-cents-is-worth-its-weight-in-gold and active-rain-intimidation-factor-don-t-let-it-happen-to-you
