Hello All! I find it fun that this, my first blog entry, is in the month of October, my favorite time of year. My new photo features a very "Happy" me with my dear bride, Gail. Navigating life the past 28 years with her has given me a great perspective on life that I think makes me a great person to help you and your family with real estate.
Real Estate is an "all people, all the time" business. This blog will be people oriented information and thoughts that I hope will put a smile on your face and let you sleep in a place you will be glad to call home! I have been active as a real estate agent for over 17 years, and the current market really has me shaking my head. Mortgage rates are very good right now, and the offerings on the market are wide, varied and plentiful. Yet, Buyer's seem very unmotivated and pensive. Take a look and your lifestyle could really be matched to your hearts content without costing a lot more. Many Buyers are thinking prices will continue to fall. They may be right, but if rates go up, the cost of a higher rate is much greater impact in creating a higher cost, than a future lower price will save. If you need different space in a different place do it now!
As my blogability improves. I am anxious to share some coll lsitings I have as well as things that I like to do in"life after work" times. I really like live music and Gail and I saw a great concert at the Raue Center in Crystal lake last weekend. More in my next posting...Thank you JRG
