A Calming Experience...Watching a Fish Tank
Suggested as a feature worthy and rebloggable read by Russel Ray, I took a look and agreed. This must be why our dentist has a huge aquarium in their waiting room. I do enjoy watching fish and someday hope to have an indoor aquarium again.
For now, my husband and I have a small garden pond with some goldfish. We actually bought the cheapest fish, feeders, last summer. They were near death when I brought them home, we figured they would all die. If you've never had a new aquarium/same with a new pond like ours, you have to get the right levels of bacteria in the water for the fish to live - and initial fish usually do not.
Not only did our feeder fish recover from being near death, they survived a very cold Ohio winter and are now 3 times bigger. I'm actually shocked at how big they've gotten.
Recently wrote about Signs of Summer in Baltimore. These photos were taken on that same evening. No we did not go downtown to our wonderful National Aquarium.
These aquatic beauties were in the fish tank at Poulet in Green Spring Station near Tarks, also in the same shopping area.
I probably was a bit rude to our dear friends...I could not help but snap away at these fascinating sea creatures while everyone was enjoying the delicious hand dipped ice cream.
Watching fish can lower blood pressure and be a calming experience..like these fish at 14 Timber Way.
Don't miss a chance to enjoy a calming experience...watching a fish tank.
