Habitat For Humanity is Busy in the Sleepy Hollow Subdivision in Birmingham

I showed a home on this street yesterday although I knew home were being built here, I did not know that they were Habitat for Humanity Homes.  The yard signs in front of the homes have the names of the families that the homes were built for.  Some have already moved in and by the looks of it, others will soon follow.

Go Habitat for Humanity and congratulations to the new home owners.

Home again, home again...

all I can think of, when I look at that first photo, is that there's no danger of the owner getting any standing water in their basement... is there?

We have a street in Huntsville where Habitat for Humanity came in and built several homes and it is a fabulous program. These are lovely homes, Charita!

Unless you did a ditch yourself Alan there's not a chance.

One thing about them Joni, when they identify a lot and get a qualified candidate, they waste no time in getting it built.

This is always a good thing.  Home ownership is such a great feeling.  We have a few different areas in the Tri-Cities that have habitat homes, no one paticular subdivision.

Can you imagine being qualified for a Habitat Home Cindy?  I mean when you think about it, some of these participates never would have dreamed they'd ever be homeowners.  WOW!

Leah it's just about a whole street.  There were some existing homes, but the Habitat Homes probably outnumber the existing homes in that block.
