In the East Atlanta Market/East Lake particularly, the Market Action Index has been climbing lately while days-on market are trending down, these point to a positive near-term outlook for the market.
Home sales have been exceeding new inventory for several weeks.Since this is a Buyer's market, prices are not yet moving higher as excess inventory is consumed. However, as the supply and demand trends continue, the market moves into the Seller's zone, and we are likely to see upward pressure on pricing here in East Atlanta/East Lake.

I can personally see prices holding strong in my business. I am getting very close to list price for my sellers, and the list price isn't neccessarily lower than what the house sold next to them any longer. The market is very different than it was end of last year. In some pockets, it is starting to turn around for sellers.
If you are a buyer, GET OFF THE FENCE and lock in a great low interest rate and buy something NOW! Don't wait for the better deal, because from what I can see, it may not come.
